FIRST THEY CAME...

Folks - this is upsetting. Hank Williams is being pulled from Monday Night Football due to a statement he made. Now I don't agree with everything Hank does, but dog gone it he is an American with an opinion and the PC Thought police are out there just like they were in Nazi Germany. We need to start pushing back and say no more. Best way to do that is with our wallets.

"First they came…" is a famous statement attributed to pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) about the inactivity of German intellectuals following the Nazi rise to power and the purging of their chosen targets, group after group. The text of the quotation is usually presented roughly as follows:

First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Just to let folks know, I don't even watch football. But what ESPN is doing is Corporate Censorship just like the type that took place in Nazi Germany.

We need to take a stand. Soon corporates new slogan will be - Arbeit Macht Frei!
