Hey folks, for those of you who have missed some opportunity to buy silver due to the "high" price. You might want to start keeping your eyes peeled.

Currently the world markets are terrified of the Euro and the very likely demise of the EU.

Markets, like people, have a hard time breaking habits.

The habit that I am talking about is when bad things happen, run to the dollar.

That is what we are seeing right now. The global markets are very concerned over the state of the Euro that they are jumping ship. The place they always tend to gravitate to is the US Dollar.

Now this is good news for those who like silver.

The way the markets usually go is that when the dollar goes up, precious metals go down. That is what we are seeing right now.

I thought that this would begin to take place around August time frame, but I believe that we are beginning to see it now form.

In the last 48 hours silver has dropped from the $40+ range to it's current price of $32.98. This is a pretty big drop and one I hope will continue.

Now those of you who may have purchased silver in the $30-$40 range, do not worry, the price of silver will jump back to that and then rocket past.

What we are seeing is just a short term dip, but if this dip holds, one may be able to take advantage of it.

So now is the time to start keeping a keen eye on the silver price and if you have money to purchase, now is the time where you might want to do that.

I do not think that the prices will last though.

Why?

When the markets realize that the US Dollar is just as bad as the Euro, then the herd will run to the next "safe haven" that being gold and silver. When that does take place, gold and silver will go through the roof.

Many peopl ask me who to purchase from. I always recommend APMEX (American Precious Metals Exchange) You can find them at www.apmex.com. Their prices are the best, their markup very low and their customer service is great.

My hope is that silver will dip to the $22.00 price and when it does, hold a garage sale, do anything you can to free up some $$$ and purchase. I don't think this opportunity will last, that is if it does go that low. US dollar Index is sitting at 78.20. Which is up from the low 70's a few months ago. This is another indicator that people are running to the dollar for safety.

What Did You Do To Prep This Week?

With the fires in Texas taking place, I ran through our preps and looked at what "holes" we had and what did I need to do to fill them.

A MAJOR hole that I discovered is that we do not have Bug Out Bags.

Yea, believe it or not, we don't have the basic B.O.B.

Why?

Well since we live in the country I have always planned to Bug Out in Place. We live on high ground, so no need to worry about floods; which happen a lot if we get any rain.

I got four neighbors with the nearest being about 1/8 mile away.

We live on a "hill" so I have full field of view almost 360 degrees around us.

So why the need to bug out?

Fire.

Wow.. Something that I did not even think about. It is strange because twice we have had fires here at the ranch but never needed to bug out.

So I started preparing my B.O.B list and starting to compile a budget to start saving for.

Interesting how events 40 miles away can get you thinking again.

It is always good to review your preps at least once every three months. Look over what you have, where you can improve, what you need to add and then put it on a list.

There is a GREAT little app for all you who have smart phones it is called Cozi and it is a great little app that also allows everyone in the family to share a Calendar, TODO, Shopping, and Journal. It is updated in real time and you can access it via the Internet or your smart phone. I think you can even access it via these smart pads / iPad as well. So I have started a list to start compiling our Bug Out Bags and now when I am out and about, I can slowly acquire what we need and start putting them together.

Then and Now

It is interesting, a lot of things are taking place.
Just this past week I have been watching the political arena. I am really concerned at where the United States is currently.
Here is something that people need to think about.
History is not linear, history is circular.
If anyone ever was qualified to speak of things pertaining to wisdom or knowledge, I would have to say that Solomon, the ancient king of Israel, would be a likely candidate.
Scriptures tell us that God appeared unto Solomon in a dream and gave him this promise:

1 Kings 3:12 Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

In this we see that Solomon was promised to be the wisest of all men past, present and future. No one would be as wise as him.
With that said, here is what Solomon said in regards to man and his existence.

Ecclesiastes 1:5-11 The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.

6 The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.

7 All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

8 All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.

9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

There is nothing new under the sun and man's history is destined to repeat itself. Man will forget from where he came and as well as those who come after him, will also forget what he did.

These past few weeks I have felt a burden. Today it is almost like a pit in my stomach. Knowing what God's Word states, I am deeply concerned where this nation is headed and I dread that we are beginning to repeat history.
Primarily Pre-WWII history and what came out of it.
As many of you know I tend to look at history to show what our future may be. I am not some prophet or son of a prophet. Just a simple watchman on the wall sounding the alarm.
The FIAT Currency Model
In studying history I have looked into empires who introduced a FIAT currency system and then looked at the outcome.
What I discovered is that from 650 BC to present, the FIAT currency model ALWAYS follows the same path.
In a FIAT money system, money is not backed by a physical commodity (i.e. gold, silver or some commodity). Instead, the only thing that gives the money value is its relative scarcity and the faith placed in it by the people that use it.
In a FIAT monetary system, there is no restraint on the amount of money that can be printed. This allows for the creation of unlimited credit. Initially, a rapid growth in the availability of credit is often mistaken for economic growth, we saw this in the Clinton followed by the Bush W era as spending and business profits grow and frequently there is a rapid growth in equity/stock prices.
In most cases, a FIAT monetary system comes into existence as a result of excessive public debt. When the government is unable to repay all its debt in gold or silver, the temptation to remove physical backing rather than to default becomes irresistible.
This took place in the 1970's when Richard Nixon took the US off of the gold standard and made it a FIAT currency.
The United States so far has been able to avoid hyperinflation by moving from a FIAT model then over to a gold standard for almost 200 years.

1785-1861 - FIXED Gold standard 76 years
1862-1879 - FLOATING fiat currency 7 years
1880-1914 - FIXED Gold standard 34 years
1915-1925 - FLOATING Fiat currency 10 years
1926-1931 - FIXED Gold standard, 5 years
1931-1945 - FLOATING Fiat currency, 14 years
1945-1968 - FIXED - Gold standard, 26 years
1971 - FLOATING - Fiat currency, 5 months
1971-1973 - FIXED - Dollar standard, 2 years
1973-? - FLOATING - Fiat currency, 30 years (1)

There are several "empires" I have looked into, the fall of Argentina in 2001 , Zimbabwe in 2005 which amazingly it seems that America has been following almost step by step. But the one "empire" that resembles most our current social, economic, and political environment today is The Weimar Republic in the early 1900s.
Similarities Between America and Nazi Germany

Brannon House wrote a great article titled "26 Similarities Between America and Nazi Germany - Three Forces Destroying the America We Know." (2)
In this article Brannon made some great observations between Hitler's Germany and the US today.
Here are just a few…

- In 1935, under Hitler's rule, prayers ceased to be obligatory in schools. In 1962, The U.S. Supreme Court outlawed school prayer.

- Hitler eliminated Christian holidays in the schools first by calling Christmas "Yuletide." Most American public schools now call Christmas vacation a "winter break."

- Hitler controlled the church using intimidation and threats. A half-century ago, U.S. Senator and Senate Majority Leader Lyndon Baines Johnson, promoted a bill that included an amendment to use the Internal Revenue Service to remove the non-profit status of a church that speaks against the election of any specific political candidate.

- Hitler killed 270,000 handicapped people through active euthanasia. America and the courts are rushing toward the same with the murder of individuals such as Terri Schiavo. Oregon voters passed their Death with Dignity Act in 1994 and re-affirmed it in 1997. Washington state voters legalized doctor-assisted suicide on November 4, 2008. In December 2008, a Montana judge ruled terminally ill residents of that state have the right to physician-assisted suicide, and "death with dignity" is gaining acceptance in other states as well.

- Hitler enticed thousands of pastors to promote paganism in their congregations. Neopaganism is one of the fastest growing religions in America, doubling every 18 months according to a June 2008 article in The Denver Post. Many American church-goers practice paganism such as "Christian" yoga, contemplative prayer, and walking a labyrinth. As evidence that church doors continue to open further to aberrant beliefs, a 2008 survey found that 57% of evangelicals do not believe Jesus Christ is the only way to God.

- Hitler prevented dissenters from using radio to challenge his worldview. Many powerful liberals in America have made clear their intent to reintroduce the "Fairness Doctrine" that would require conservative and religious radio stations to offer equal time to anti-Christian, anti-conservative worldviews.

- Pastors who spoke against Hitler's worldview and his murderous regime found themselves on trial and frequently imprisoned for "Abuse of Pulpit." In America, hate-crime legislation has the potential to criminalize Christians and pastors who speak out against the homosexual agenda.

- Many Christians in Germany justified their allegiance to Hitler through a belief that "Their duty to God was spiritual; their duty to the state was political." Many American Christians now have bought the lie that their worldview can be divided between the secular and the sacred-the politician has one area of responsibility, the pastor another, and never shall the two meet. Yet the Bible teaches that all issues are fundamentally spiritual.

- Hitler exploited the economic collapse of Germany to take over as dictator and usher in his brand of socialism. America's financial crisis has given liberals in both political parties the opportunity to grow the size of government and implement freedom-robbing socialism at lightning speed.

It is amazing at the similarities between the empire today that we live in and the empire of yesterday.
But I show all of this to point out the most troubling fact.
The one thing that ALWAYS takes place as an outcome of hyperinflation is the people always give some person absolute power to "fix" the country. In other words they put in a very strong and charismatic person who in the beginning does wonderful things for the empire. But soon ultimate power corrupts ultimately and the person becomes a despot and a dictator.
It is out of this that tyranny always gains a foothold. In fact in every hyperinflated economy we see the building blocks form that allows tyranny a foothold.
There are seven major principals that always bring about tyranny.

Humanism
Social Justice and Economic Equality
Environmentalism
Socialism
Fascism
Misguided Pursuit of Personal Value
Economic Central Planning

Our nation, like it or not suffers from all of these major principals.
A Look At The Past

What the coins say…
AM 1. NOV. 1923 KOSTETE 1 PFUND BROT 3 MILLIARDEN / 1 PFUND FLEISCH 36 MILLIARDEN / 1 GLAS BIER 4 MILLIARDEN:

Translation : On November 1, 1923, 1 pound of bread cost 3 billion / 1 pound of meat 36 billion / 1 glass of beer 4 billion.
The two medals shown above commemorate the height of the Weimar Republic's hyperinflation period, in November 1923. They are a rather disturbing reminder of what the average German citizen had to contend with in their daily lives, at that time.
The medal at the left states that on November 1, 1923, a pound of bread cost Three Billion marks, a pound of meat cost 36 Billion Marks, and a glass of beer cost Four Billion Marks!
Two weeks later, on November 15, 1923, the medal at the right states that a pound of bread cost 80 Billion Marks, a pound of meat cost 900 Billion Marks, and a glass of beer cost 52 Billion Marks.
This is an amazing example of how fast hyperinflation moves upon an empire.
Why The Pit in My Stomach?

I know that hyperinflation is coming, but in all of this God will provide, we have been good stewards and we have been doing all we can to try to prepare our families "ark" to help weather this storm.
Why the pit in my stomach?
It isn't the knowledge of what hyperinflation will do, well there is some uncertainty due to the unknown.
Remember Solomon telling us that man is destined to repeat his own history? The FIAT currency model has been repeating itself for almost 2500 years. Every great dictator/leader throughout history, Caesar, Napoleon, and Hitler were all born out of hyperinflation.
Once again God's Word through King Solomon stated the following…

Ecclesiastes 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

With knowledge comes understanding. I understand that the natural laws that God put in place are at play here.
The reason for the pit… the United States as we know it will follow this same path and unless divine intervention takes place and changes our course, we will give a tyrant absolute power over this nation.
What is worse, like in pre-WWII Germany, it will be the watered down lukewarm church that will help usher that said tyrant in.
It will be this same watered down lukewarm church where persecution of both Christians, but also Jews will come from.
It was the watered down German church that gladly accepted and in fact helped enact laws against dissidents and Jews of that time.
Many Christians in Germany justified their allegiance to Hitler through a belief that "Their duty to God was spiritual; their duty to the state was political."(3)
It is the very same environment that we are witnessing today. Hitler's holocaust killed between 8 and 11 million Jews and non-Jews during his reign.
In Germany, pastors often cited Romans 13:1-2 to encourage Christians to obey the Nazis. Today in America, many pastors have a false view of Romans 13:1-2 and have convinced millions that to disobey governing authorities is to disobey God. This poor training would facilitate Christians here doing just as the German Christians did if faced with similar challenges. (4)
So now you understand the pit in my stomach.
Who Do We Follow?

I look out at the political arena today and I see so many Christians who are falling right in line, "marching" some even "goose stepping" (how the German soldiers marched) at the sound of some sort of political & spiritual drum.
Glen Beck over in Israel, pastors gladly uniting with this Mormon in support of the Jewish state. Now mind you I am a huge supporter of Israel. But I am not willing to share the stage with someone who is using his bully platform to proselytize his religious beliefs, beliefs that in fact are going to send millions to hell. That is exactly what Glen Beck did in Israel.
It amazes me how many Christians have out and out attacked me with an extreme bias and viciousness when I dare talk about their "holy cow" Glen Beck.
I get the same viciousness when I talk and try to show why I dislike Rick Perry's use of the church and Christianity to further his political momentum.
I feel in my heart of hearts that if not this election, then the next presidential election will be the one where we as a nation gladly hand absolute power to an individual, just like the lukewarm Christian church did handing power to Hitler.
We gladly handed our nation over to a Muslim who has no regard for this land of ours. He came out of nowhere and no one worried about his background.
God's Word does not lie and it is a fact that we are repeating our history. So the desire for someone to be "elected" to come in and fix all our woes is there.
And we most likely will allow this person in office. But it will come with a price.
Tertullian (c. 160 – c. 220 AD) was a prolific early Christian author from Carthage in the Roman province of Africa. He stated the following…

“Plures efficimur quotiens metimur a vobis; semen est sanguis Christianorum (We multiply whenever we are mown down by you; the blood of Christians is seed),” Apology, trans. T. R. Glover, pp. 226–27 (1931).

Thomas Jefferson stated the following…

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure. - THOMAS JEFFERSON, letter to William Stephens Smith, November 13, 1787.—The Papers of Thomas Jefferson, ed. Julian P. Boyd, vol. 12, p. 356 (1955)

So What Will Be The Outcome?

Bible believing Christians will go underground, just like they did in Rome, France (1500-1600) and in Hitler's Germany.

In fact the primary driving force of the German Underground were hardcore Christians who loved the Lord and realized that for tyranny to succeed, Judeo-Christian principals had to die along with Jews and Christians.
Will we see a repeat of history?
I pray that we will not. But in light of what God said through Solomon, we most likely will.
We are on a path that has long been traveled and our wheels are locked within the ruts. It will only be by divine intervention that we will be able to turn this vehicle off the path of destruction and return to the path of freedom.
But know this, we as a nation have been down this path before. But we have always paid a price in blood.

- Hyperinflation -1700 - Revolutionary War

- Hyperinflation - 1800 - Civil War

- Depression - 1900 - WWII / Great Depression

- Hyperinflation - 2010 - ????

What Is The First Step In Possibly Changing The Path This Nation Is On?

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Thing is that there is always hope and we must always remember that. This world is not our home and we have our Father in Heaven who loves us and His Grace will be sufficient for us no matter our need.
But we as Christians have allowed a lot of water to go under the bridge that has damaged this nation. What we need to do is ask ourselves how we can prepare so that we can weather this coming storm?
Sitting on our hands and doing nothing, then crying out to God is a sin. In fact what people are doing when they do this is called "tempting God." They are putting themselves in undue danger when they have the means and ability to not be there.
I believe that if we prepare an ark for our families, we will be able to make a difference. How that difference will come about I do not know.
Maybe more small bible believing churches start preaching the convicting Word of God again.
Maybe through the creation of biblical home churches and missionary work within our own nation.
And if tyranny does come, maybe through the formation of an "underground" of sorts. Much like there is today in China, Vietnam and the Middle East where already the blood of the saints is being spilt for the Gospel of Christ.
But no matter what, I believe we need to be prepared to weather and Survive The Coming Storm. We still have time. This is why I was driven to write my book by the same title - "Survive The Coming Strom."

Are You Tempting God?

For the past 5-6 years I have been writing about what I am calling "The Coming Storm."

Well the storm is now coming towards us and is upon our horizon.
What is interesting is that both heathen and Christian both see hard times coming.

We know from scripture that times are not going to get better, they are going to get worse.

2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

God's Word has warned us that cataclysmic events will be taking place. War, famine, pestilence and natural disasters.

Have we had these types of events before? Yes we have, but not at the levels we have seen in recent days.

One does not have to be a believer to understand that hard times are coming. The air is so "thick" with this knowledge that you can cut it with a butter knife.

Over the years I have gotten many, many emails and it is interesting, I see two types of Christian.
First there is the Christian that says You do not have faith - God will protect us - He saved Israel with manna, He will do the same for us - Your just an alarmist, chicken little, sky is falling, you need to rely on God.

The second group of folks are those who see the writing on the wall and are doing something about it. They are making physical preparations knowing that hard times are coming.

For those of you who do not know, you can count me in the second group of people.

It is my hope to share with you from scripture why we need to be preparing and why I believe it is our duty as Christians to do so.

Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

Proverbs 6:6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

Proverbs 30:25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;

We see example after example where God's people were warned in advance and then prepared themselves and their families.

We see Noah being warned of the rain and floods. He was told to build an ark. He was obedient and God spared his family. Please note that God did not drop an ark out of sky. It took Noah 120 years to build it. All the while he was warning / preaching to the people.

Noah prepared, the storm came, he and his family were sparred. Now God did not just "whisk" them away, they went through the storm in the ark that God told them to prepare and build.

We also see Joseph who was warned that a terrible famine was coming. He was given seven years to prepare.

Now, did Joseph lack faith? Do we view him today as an alarmist? Chicken little? Doom and gloomer?

No we don't in fact he is held in high regard because he acted on the warnings God gave and made proper preparations. Not only did Joseph save Egypt, he saved Israel and many other of the surrounding countries as well those who might have starved to death.

We see Lot and his family, they were warned of impending destruction. Now they did not have time to prepare, in fact they were told to leave now.

In fact Lot went to some of his family and they did not listen to him about the coming destruction.

Genesis 19:13 - 14 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it. 14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

Like many out there, people are not listening. They see what is happening right before their eyes, but like the ostrich, they put their heads in the sand. Because of this, they and their families will become victims of the coming storm.

Genesis 19:15-17 And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

We see here even in Lot a certain reluctance, but he still was a righteous man and acted upon God's warning.

We as Christians are called to be aware and to foresee coming dangers and prepare for them in advance while we still have time.

Even the animals know to store up for the winter and hard times. But it is our free will that allows us to see the coming storm and do nothing about it.

Like with Noah, Joseph and Lot, God gives His warning and he expects His people to act on these warnings.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Luke 21:10 -11 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Friends, often people think that Christ is describing the tribulation, he is not. These things must come to pass prior. We know this by what is given of the very same account from the book of Mark.

Mark 13:7-8 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

These things are just the beginnings of sorrows. We are warned, it is here in black and white, perilous times are coming and in fact are here. Things are going to get worse not better.

Those of us who are bible believing Christians see the writing on the wall. Like Noah, Joseph, Lot and others in scripture, we need to be obedient and act on these warnings.

Folks, I am not the only one out there saying this. The holy spirit is moving in the church. This very same warning is coming from small town churches, pastors being sensitive to the spirit and preaching this from the pulpit. Solid brethren who blog on the internet, same message of warning. I just attended the Future Congress Conference, I had many people come up to me, people I have never known and who have never read my website say almost the exact same thing that I have been preaching for the past 6 years. They see the coming storm and as God's people, we need to prepare.

Even if these people did not raise up a warning, we still see it on TV, in the newspapers, on the internet. As I have stated before, even the heathen sees the warnings and the air is so thick you can cut it with a butter knife.

God is warning His people and we must act.

Look at what we have facing us…

- Earthquakes in CA
- Floods in the mid-west
- Hurricanes
- Bird flu - pandemics - illness & disease
- Financial collapse / Bank Holiday - Bank Day
- Manmade disasters / terrorist attacks
- Wars, revolutions, riots, crime, social unrest

We are sitting upon the cusp of the perfect storm, one that will effect just about everyone in the world.

How can you not see this and sit and do nothing?

Men of God, how can you sit idly by and allow your families health and welfare to be put in danger.

Do you know that if you are doing nothing you are worse than the infidel?

1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Some of our parents, our grandparents and specially our great grand parents always kept food and provisions on hand. In fact it was very common to have at least a year's worth on hand. It wasn't till the dawn of the super market and mega store that we have neglected our duties to being good stewards in this area of providing for our family.

Folks like it or not it is prudent of us to at least have 30 days worth of food and critical commodities / necessities on hand to fulfill the needs of our families. And this is the bare minimum.

It is the enemy who has made being a good steward something that is wrong in today's world.

Scripture says…

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Today people who are good stewards are hoarders, survivalists, extremists, domestic terrorists, and the list of negatives goes on.

Are You Tempting God?

Matthew 4:6-7 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

We can see clearly that by putting yourself in a dangerous situation and then expecting God to protect or rescue you is tempting God.

Now if it is God's Will and we have been called to put our lives in this situation, then that is a completely different matter. The outcome in most cases is dying a martyrs death or paying the highest price for the sake of the gospel.

We have been given warnings, we see the writing on the wall, the Holy Spirit is speaking through many the same message all over the land. That message is for God's people to prepare for hard times ahead while we still have the time and ability to do so.

I strongly believe that by refusing to make preparations when God has given advance warnings is not only tempting God by ignoring God‘s warnings, but being disobedient to Him and denying the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Friend, if this is you, you are living a very dangerous life and putting not only yourself, but your families in harm's way due to the consequences of sin and disobedience to God.

God has given us plenty of advance warning. Just in the scriptures alone from Matthew, Luke and Mark alone that I have shared with you should give us heed for concern.

So with all that is going on in the world, the air so thick we can cut it with a knife, shouldn't we be taking God seriously and prepare for these dangers that lie ahead?

Joseph and Noah prepared and saved their families, are we better than them?

Look at it this way.

We have…

- Home owners insurance just in case our home is in danger or destroyed

- Auto insurance in case are car is damaged in a wreck or destroyed

- Health insurance in case we get sick or have a serious illness

- Renters insurance to protect and replace items that might be lost due to fire, theft or other damage

Why do we then shun, put down, disregard, having any sort of food and provision insurance so that our families health and welfare is provided for in times of disaster or upheaval?

You do believe in God's Word don't you?

You take it as absolute truth don't you?

You believe that we are living in the last days don't you?

Then wars, pestilence, natural disasters and the like are coming and in fact are here now.

You see perilous times right here, right now don't you?

Folks, no matter what you believe regarding the rapture and the timing of the rapture we are where we are. No one man has the all seeing all knowing crystal ball telling us exactly when the rapture will take place.

Don't believe me, look at Harold Camping. This was his third time at dating the rapture and guess what, we are still here. He was wrong.

We are told in God's word to trust in the Lord and not lean on our own understanding.

Listen, I stand on the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. But I submit myself to Him and His Word.

We are told in scripture that only God knows the day and the hour

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

So I strongly believe that those who state that we do not have to worry because God is going to rapture us out are in fact tempting God. They are putting themselves and their families in un-needed danger, in turn they are sinning against God.

Now I know by now I am really upsetting people, getting the "he is a pharasee" "being legalistic", " how dare he judge me" thing going on.

Well I am just the messenger folks. What you need to do is ask yourself are you truly submitting to

God's Word or are you just "cherry picking" what you want to hear and believe?

Lean not on our own understanding, lean only on God's Word.

Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

Right there in black and white.

Are you a prudent / wise obedient person or are you a simple / fool disobedient person?

We know the signs, we see what is happening right before our eyes, it is our duty as Christians being obedient to Him to prepare for hard times. This is a fact in light of God's Word.

You know what you and your family need. We must be acting on God's council and make preparations for the Coming Storm now, before the storm hits.

Friend, IT IS the act of faith to take God's Word and then act on these warnings so that you and your family can "Survive The Coming Storm."

It IS NOT the act of faith to be tempting God.

It takes God's power working in us and knowing God Word to act on something that we do not know when will hit.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Not Only You and Your Family - But Others

Christ tells us in Luke 19:13 to "Occupy Till He Returns"

1 Peter 3:15 tells us…

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Not only should we be making preparations for the health and welfare of ourselves and our family, but we need to also be making preparations to offer charity and help others if we are called upon to do so.

Now am I saying that we need to turn our garage into a soup kitchen?

No, I am not.

But think that if we are able to assist a family in need and help them get over a rough time, don't you think that we will also have the opportunity to share the gospel?

See not only will we be able to share the gospel, we will be able to share the gospel with credibility because we did heed God's warnings when others did not. We saw the writing on the wall with others ignored it.

Now again, I am not talking soup kitchens or anything like that.
But what I am talking about is when the holy spirit moves you to reach out to a family or individual and be of assistance. This is an example of "always be ready."

Scripture says…

Ephesians 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Where To Start?

One of the best places to start is to find a place where you can store your supplies. See if you have a place for your pantry, it is a lot easier to start.

Next you need to determine what sort of events and situations could possibly effect you and your family.

For example, if you live in California, then you need to be concerned with earthquakes. So prepare.

If you live in Kansas you need to be concerned with tornados.

Knowing and identifying these situations will help you better determine and prepare what you need to do and what supplies / critical commodities you will need to have on hand.

One of the best places to start is by educating yourself. There is a lot of great information out there. You can utilize your local library, the internet as well as people in your church who have been preparing.

Now you can't prepare for every event, even the US Army has the saying "adapt and overcome."

Also, do not buy into the hype that Hollywood has sold us all these years.

No there will not be some massive "zombie attack."

Nor will the world melt down into a mad max nuclear apocalyptic word. Take a look at Japan today. We do not see mutant biker gangs roaming the roads of Tokyo do we?

What I believe that we need to be preparing for is an economic downfall of the US dollar. In turn this will affect many people and in fact it will impact many countries.

There are people out there that say that this will bring on the reign of the antichrist. Could this be true? I could very well come about that way. But again we do not have an all seeing crystal ball.
What this could do is bring about another dictator like we saw in WWII and the death of over 6 million Jews and thousands of Christians.

What we need to do is stop leaning upon our own understanding and lean upon God's Word.
God's Word tells us to prepare, so we need to be obedient to Him.

Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

Finally, it does not matter what we have been concerned with. Our job is to do the best that we can do with what God has given us stewardship over. We have a brain to think with and two hands to work with. He has provided for us the tools we need to do the right thing according to
His Word.

What we need to do now is to act and stop making excuses while we still have time.

The one thing that will come out of all of this is that you will have a certain peace of mind knowing that you have done all.. and when that evil day comes… you will be able to stand.

Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

US Dollar Decline - It's Coming!

On April 18 Standard & Poor Ratings Services downgraded the US long term as well as short term sovereign debt from "stable" to "negative."

Those at the S&P are sending a message to the administration to clean up the fiscal mess or they will downgrade US sovereign debt even more.

Fast Forward to today

Moody’s Places U.S. on Review for Downgrade As Debt Talks Stall

Moody’s Investors Service put the U.S. under review for a credit rating downgrade as talks to raise the government’s $14.3 trillion debt limit stall, adding to concern that political gridlock will lead to a default.

The Aaa ratings of financial institutions directly linked to the U.S. government, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the Federal Home Loan Banks, and the Federal Farm Credit Banks, were also put on review for cuts, Moody’s said in a statement today.

The U.S., rated Aaa since 1917, was put on review for the first time since 1995 on concern the debt limit will not be raised in time to prevent a missed payment of interest or principal on outstanding bonds and notes even though the risk remains low, Moody’s said. The rating would likely be reduced to the Aa range and there is no assurance that Moody’s would return its top rating even if a default is quickly cured.

The effects of this downgrade are quiet visible with Gold shooting up to new record highs this week.

Basically stated, America's financial empire is on it's last leg.

There are several indicators that I keep an eye on to tell me when things are "volatile" and to prepare for "Bank Day" or a Bank Holiday. One of those is the US Dollar Index which is currently sitting at 75.11.

Until recently the dollar has been declining very steadily now since the beginning of the new year in Jan 11.

But now with what is taking place in Europe and the soon demise of the Euro, people are rushing to the only "stable" item, that being the dollar.

Now just for your information, the dollar is not stable and those who put their trust in it will be sorry.

With this rush to the dollar, we are going to see silver prices start to drop. This is not a bad thing, it is a good thing in that it opens another window for people to purchase silver.

I am not sure how far it will drop, but we may even see $22.00 an ounce, at least this is what has been speculated out there with the silver pundents.

I say all of this so that those of you who are buying silver, to start setting aside some $$$ so that when the price does drop, you are able to take advantage of this.

This week there was news from the FED with the hinting of a QEIII. This is not good at all and will further destroy the dollar.

In talks going on regarding the debt ceiling, it is all a dog and pony show. The republicans will cave like always and this will send a message to the world that we dont care about paying back our debt. Couple this with QEIII and this nation will soon be up the creek without a paddle.

Here is the long and short of it...

QE3 is coming.
The Debt Ceiling will be raised.
The Dollar is headed down once again.
There will be more financial crises.
China is continuing to by real assets and opening up new precious metal markets.
And I seriously believe that the best place to be is in physical silver.
